BIOCHAR

from £7.99

Biochar made from larch (Larix spp.) mindfully taken from our sustainably managed woodland in Wales, UK.

Larch wood has high lignin content, giving it higher thermal stability than many other biochar feedstock materials, meaning a lower ash content biochar and a purer material to add to our precious soils.

We are restoring our woodland to its original ancient woodland status, which means gradually removing larch with the aim of retaining a continuous woodland canopy.

We chip the biochar resulting in a coarse grade material that is perfect for adding to compost heaps and soils.

If you’d like some advice and tips for using biochar then check our info pages or feel free to get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
